We’re here! We’re back! It’s time for a whole new season of ponies! And what better way to start than by [checks notes] watching the Mane 6 get abducted by a CULT??!!?! Season 5 starts off by exploding the ponies’ whole world by revealing the Cutie Map and signaling the Mane 6 to go to a village at the furthest edge of Equestria. Once the ponies get there, though, everything seems fine. I mean, it seems fine if you’re an earnest Pony Princess who doesn’t recognize brainwashed ponies when you see them. What darkness awaits when our pony friends finally discover the danger they’re facing? You’ll have to find out for our first episode of the new season!
