This week felt a little like a filler episode, which is a bit of a bonkers statement because, just based on plot alone, this show is headed toward some buck wild stories this season. I mean, Veronica’s printing counterfeit money and Jughead’s tracking down leads for a possible alien conspiracy. Meanwhile, Betty and Alice are desperately trying to track what could have happened to Polly and finding out a pattern of missing people in the process. And hey, while we’re at it, let’s have a powerful and truly revealing conversation about trauma, PTSD, and veterans. There’s a lot going on here, and who knows how far they’re going to take it from here.
